I took three classes from Dr. Tryphonopoulos last year and he is by far the most helpful professor I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, and if you are willing to put the effort in, he will do whatever he can to help you out! If you don't put the effort in, you will notice it in your grads. I highly recommend bringing your drafts to him!!

He is BY FAR the best professor I have ever had. He is incredibly passionate and knows what he's talking about. He's also very kind, and he genuinely cares about your progress. I will certainly take another course with him! If you can take a course with him, take it!

Extremely knowledgeable & passionate about his subject matter & an exceedingly kind man. Additionally, have you ever had a soft-spoken Greek man read aloud to you? It's better than a warm hug from your mom. You've never heard sibilants so soothing!

Great guy. Probably one of the smartest men I have ever met. He speaks several languages, and is an expert on some of the hardest texts ever written. I didn't have money to buy the book right away, so he lent me an old copy of his. Marks hard, but in a way that is extremely fair. Its up to you.
