Comment:

I consider myself to be a good student, I study and put in the work. However, with this class getting good grades is nearly impossible. Students go to him and ask for advice and all he says is, "You won't pass my class if you don't change your behavior". Highly recommend avoiding him and his class if you can.

Professor Clayson is the worst professor I've had while I've been here at UNI. He has really misogynistic views and expresses them during class. He also writes op-ed articles in the Waterloo Courier, so if you want to see just how much of a kook he is just read his articles. Don't take.

He is a lost person. Teaches fine but you aren't able to figure out under which topic or subject matter he is teaching. Interesting person to listen to but not a person to learn from. Tests and exams are way too tough. Miss the lecture, you'll never pass the exams. However, gives good grades for the assignments.

Don't... just don't. I showed up every class, payed attention, and wrote down everything he said. You do not receive your tests back to see what you missed and how to improve for the next test because "Test are for him to see how you are doing." His test are all comprehensive.

This class was difficult. I went in thinking it was going to be just like Principles and it was far from that. The notes are there, but you will want to make sure you write down everything he says because chances are it will be on the exam. Exams are cumulative and difficult. I still enjoyed the class and learned a lot, but it was hard work.

He is the worst teacher I have ever had!! He is arrogant. I was very sick the week before final exams and went to the doctors. I emailed him about how sick I was and about notes I missedand what would be on the final exam and NOTHING! NO HELP! I'm not taking his class ever again he is the worst instructor ever...I hate him. He screwed me over.

Consumer Behavior: His grading structure will save you. A's to top50%, B's 2nd 50%, (no CD) and F's. Tests were incredibly tough, I studied all night and never understood what was going on in class. All tests are cumulative. Must have an interest in Psychology or have previously taken. Guaranteed B for any effort. Dont buy the book.

Great lecturer. Class is interesting. He gives you the facts, cold hard facts. Tests are impossibly hard though. Luckily, his grading scale is set up so that anyone above class average gets and A, below class average but above 50% is a B, and below 50% is an F. You have to literally not try at all to get an F.

Prfessor Clayson is a really easy and fun professor! the class is an easy A, or at least B. Has only 3 grades, either A, B or F. ALmost impossible to get an F, unless if u do nothing at all!

He is easily one of the best professors I have ever had. He knows a lot and is excited about teaching it. The class is not easy but I really enjoyed it. No attendance but if you miss a class you miss a lot. Skimming over your notes the night before won't cut it. You have to put in time and effort to learn the info, not just try to memorize it.

I took Principles of Marketing with him, and think he is a very good professor. Show up for class and pay attention. His lectures cover every question you will find on the exams, including some questions not covered in the textbook. Don't expect to get a high grade without any effort. You will get the grade you earn.

I went in thinking it would be interesting to see the psychological side of marketing- came out disappointed and frustrated. Perhaps psychology just isn't my thing but he is an awful professor and the tests and quizzes are just ridiculously unbearable. If you take him, good luck!

Clayson is an extremely smart and interesting teacher. He was able to keep me interested during his 8 o'clock class. He is difficult, but I would have to say that being in his class makes me feel like I'm actually learning something instead of just memorizing it. That is why he is a great professor.

Worst Professor in the world. He uses a different textbook then the class, good luck trying to go to his office during office hours, he's never there (even when you have an appointment).
