Human rights majors, get ready for easily one of the most rewarding undergrad courses. Simon is well respected in the academic community, and speaks with authority when he teaches the material. He really cares about helping you learn the significance of the movement. Will definitely do everything he can to help you. Fair grader, wants you to learn.

I love Professor Simon! Enthusiastic, Fun, knowledgable and engaging. I feel like he is only talking to me though, expecting me to answer every question though, as a result of my extensive discussion with him outside of class, which makes me a little uncomfortable, because I can't answer every question he asks.

Professor Simon is a very good professor. His reviews do not cover all the material available on the test but if you know class notes and readings then you will be fine. I made all A's this semster and one B+, Professor Simon's course was the B+. So although you may be a strong student he can provide a challenge. He was fair and I deserved a B+!

What a marvelous professor. Truly a breath of fresh air. He is a pleasure to speak with: down to earth, very knowledgable, genuine, very kind and thoughtful, very student oriented. His lectures can be a bit boring but - very important but - he can also be just fascinating. He is every bit into polls and is an expert at pollstering.
