aweful professor. he moves very fast, and expects you to know everything right away and if you don't he will look at you like you're an idiot. Doesn't lecture clearly, never erases anything, very unorganized. DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!

He is a hard professor, but it's mostly because the material is hard. He tries to make it as easy as possible and gives a ton of extra credit on all quizzes and exams. Be prepared to take notes fast, but you don't have to do a ton of outside work. Use past quizzes to study for exams because he draws questions from them.

He can't stay on topic to save his life and turns the board into a mess with the same equations over and over again. If you ask a question he just looks at you like you're stupid instead of trying to help. If your a tactile or visual learner DO NOT TAKE, he refuses to go over examples or walk you through it.

Worst teacher I've had. Quizzes are small, so one wrong already puts you at a B. Very arrogant, expects you to know everything the first time he says it. Confusing wording, especially on quizzes/tests. Boring to listen to during lecture. Thought I'd be able to handle him going into it, turns out the reviews were right. Degrades students.

He is such a confusing teacher that jumps all over the place and doesn't make it clear what he wants from you. There is online homework and half the students didn't know until about a month in. His lectures are the same both days of the week and you take a test once a week that has an awful format. Passable but way more work put in than needed.

The lectures are long and brutal to listen through. He would go off topic and did't make sense when explaining. Many times he would make mistakes and fumble through his examples with little clarity. He expected too much. I am an A/B student and he gave me my first F in college. My life revolved around microeconomics and it did not get me anywhere.

Marks goes through the material much slower and methodically compared to other teachers. If you struggle with algebra this is going to be a very difficult class. You need to attend class if you hope to pass his many quizzes and tests. If you are struggling talk to him. I suggest you use his office hours and ask for help if you want an A.

Honestly, he's the worst teacher. Take any Econ teacher but him, he doesn't teach and goes off on long tangents about his personal life. I learned nothing from him.

I'll just be straight forward. Worst teacher I have ever had in any level of schooling. Pretty much just expects that students should know everything he knows. From what I've heard from my classmates, my C in the class was pretty impressive in comparison to what they received. If you get stuck in his class, best of luck my friend.

Professor Marks has to be one of the most unclear, unpredictable professors of all time. He can start a sentence talking about a certain demand curve and finish the sentence with a story about how much wine he bought this weekend. He will also tell you things that you don't need to know for weeks. I will never be taking this professor again.

I hated going to this class. The book was interesting, but his lectures were long (75 mins), boring, and hard to follow. The tests were fill in the blank and were every Wednesday. Impossible to get the exact word. Trying to study for the test was impossible. Went in during office hours and got no help. I would never take a class with him again.

I dreaded coming to this class every day. He told you more useful things in his emails that he sent at short notice than he actually told you in class. Had to buy a $25 mandatory software that was a waste of money since I ended up dropping the class. Talks very fast and trails off in the middle of his sentence. Had weekly quizzes.

A Yale graduate with a chip on his shoulder because he is teaching at UWW. Worst professor and academic experience I have ever encountered. He is tenured and abuses the privilege. Do not waste your time with his ineptitude.

lecture was only 75 minutes (felt like 200 minutes) Teacher never stays on topic. Gives long tests which are all problem solving. Emails you THE NIGHT BEFORE CLASS to tell you how you should prepare for the next class, homework and readings. of 8 students in class, 2 kids got higher than my C. Did not enjoy. Avoid At All Costs

Literally the worst professor I have ever had. He is horrible at making the topic clear and will go on rants about irrelevant material. The tests are too long for the period and are all problem based, of which he goes through almost no examples. He practically expects you yo be on a graduate student level and offers little help. Avoid at all costs

I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Marks. I expected to hate Econ, but he made it fairly interesting. He sometimes had a hard time clarifying questions, but everything was straight from the book, lecture, and class handouts. However, it was a lot of work for a 2 credit class.

Avoid at all costs. Waste of graduate school tuition money. can't teach, worst extra credit opportunities, too repetitive. Needs to stick with undergrad courses. Worst handwriting ever! Has no empathy for students (gives too much work for a short amount of time). Class ends at 9:35pm, average student gets out by 11:00pm due to super hard quizzes.

Worst professor choice ever. Avoid at all costs! I don't understand anything! There's 2 weeks of school left n he JUST gave out the project! Waste of my money going to grad school and taking this guy!Even the other students could teach me better than him! Wastes so much paper with handouts! Sat 3 hours after class to take the quiz! :(

Very bad choice. Never understood what are the requirements of the course. Get the first question wrong in a quiz, Walla 80% of your answers will be wrong. The worst Professor I have ever had :-(

Always goes off topic. Not clear when explaining the topics. Has bad time management. Prepares a ton of work for a limited class period (crams everything into one class). Has bad hand writing/drawings. He has very bad examples (rather just read the text or reach out to another instructor/tutor). Very traditional, no use of D2L, hard copies only.
