Comment:

The way he goes about educating his class is above and beyond most teachers. He engages the class to the fullest extent so classes just feel more like group discussions really. He is super educated and smart and can talk about any topic for hours. I really appreciate how much he cares for his students, he is meant to be a teacher.

Professor Buchanan is passionate about the course and students education. It is his goal that each student is able to learn and apply the learning to other courses and general communication skills. It was a nice class, the whole semester. I got "B" and "C" and an "A" grade. In final, I wrote the essay as he instructed in the review class for the final, but I got an "F" grade for the final!!! Mystery for me! At the end of the Semester, it was totally unexpected. I am not an Literature student, so that final grade was disheartening for me.

Had Mr. Buchanan during my Pre-Health course. He was pretty much the only thing that made school bearable. He's a tough grader, but it honestly feels so good earning that grade. Class discussions are lively and spirited, just wished he would rein it in more. :)
