The subject is very interesting. She is very straight forward with the subject and truly knows her material. Although she has a tendency to cancel her classes a lot. Its best if you get to her class on time because if you are late you won?t be allowed to sign in. The projects are pretty fun and she will go over the chapter and explain its contents.

She's a horrible professor. She missed 5+ classes and when she did come to class she was all over the place. She taught absolutely nothing and did not lecture on anything that was going to be on the test. Don't take her. She plays favorites and is hypocritical. She didn't teach anything. Waste of time and of a class. Definitely take someone else.

she is very hard to follow in class. it is hard to not fall asleep. all her tests are right out of the book. and the questions are very specific. but she will try to be flexible with you if you really need it. she misses alot of classes, and she is never in her office during her hours

This class was easy, but I found the information interesting. She misses a lot of classes, and you have 2 projects that require a lot of time. She gives study guides for tests. Just ask questions and you will be fine. Oh yeah lots of videos, and her tests are 90% out of the book.

Barbolla is a great lady. tests were based on the text, and she doesn't cover that much in class. many videos and random bits of info in lectures, but still interesting. She's very smart. No busy work, but there are big projects.

Very difficult tests, even with partial material that we were allowed to use during the test. She asks for details and questions are mean. Lots of projects that will cost you a lot of money. Lectures are boring and useless since she uses the book for tests etc. I would not recommend taking her.

She has a lot of absences (I don't care since it's my last class of the day!) and her lectures are pointless, BUT she gives you all the information that you need to pass the tests and the reading is interesting. Don't ask her too many questions... she takes them as challenges rather than helping you to learn, but this should be an easy A.

I cant believe how much she is absent! She's missed two weeks so far!! Plus whenever she is there, we only watch videos. We got the study guide for the exam and none of the inclass material was really even on there. I thought this class would be much more interesting than it was.

"Take this lady at your own risk" is my best advice. She was absent for OVER half of the semester. In-class material was not tested. Should have been an online class b/c tests were all from book. Easy grader. Could be an easy class if you're really, really disciplined..

nice enough teacher. lectures are hard to follow, just gives you tons of information. her handwriting is IMPOSSIBLE to read; it's just awful. everyone failed our in class exams, but got A's on the take home portions. her tests never relate to the page of notes you can use. it's a very demanding class and is time consuming. strict w/ attendance

A really fun and outgoing professor. She demands alot but is worth it. I learned a lot from her class and we still see eachother on campus and chat. She really cares about any student that will put forth the efoort and she will be right there to help if you need her.

very sweet lady that's easy to talk to. Beware though, her lectures are a bit unorganized and her handwriting is extremely hard to read. It's not a hard class but it lacks structure which can make it more difficult than it should be. She also goes off on tangents that can be quite dull to say the least.

Great class. She's very knowledgable, very easy-going and approachable. Easy to pass the tests if you study... a novel concept to most students. One paper due at the end of the semester, but I found it to be a lot of fun. Not much homework, and the stuff she did give was really easy.
