She is a nice person but dont recommend her as a teacher. She does not use blackboard, assignments are unclear and hand written. She also may not return you exams and essay in time. I regretted taking her class

Outdated methods. Needs to become current with the times, not expect students to become current with her. Gives handouts that were handwritten and photocopied! Cannot use a computer or accept emails! Ridiculous on attendance. Knowledgeable in her field but would not recommend. I will not take a class with her again.

Prof. Daily really knows her stuff when it comes to interpreting the themes and symbolism of literature. She gives you everything you need in order to write a passable paper, in terms of guidance and advice. There is a lot of writing, but if you show up to class and really take your time to make your papers good, you should do fine.

Took her for 111, Old Fashioned teacher. No blackboard, rarely answers email if ever. Lectures are pretty boring. Partcipation is a big deal, alot of papers. Overall fair teacher, offers extra credit

Overall, she is a good professor although she is very relaxed. I took classes with noisy people, and she did not handle it well; it gets frustrating. Sometimes, she expects you to use your memory to learn specific definitions, and the grade is base on that Hability. Fair grading, respectful, and friendly.

Attendance and participation is very important in her class I used to not like her first but, when i get used to her she is a great professor. communicate with her when you have a question. she just want to see improvement through out the semester. Overall she is an amazing professor!!!

I am torn with this class. Maybe because my previous English teacher set the bar so high. Coming to this class feels as if i am going to a book club, to drink coffee and discuss about stories. No actual learning on how to be a better writer. The midterm and final are in- class essay- There is a research paper and 4 more essays. No blackboard.

I had Prof. Daily two semesters in a row (ENG 252 and ENG241). if you are looking for an easy grade, you picked the wrong person. She is understanding and fair grader. you have to earn your grade- what a novel Concept huh!- you have to take ownership of your study. she is encourages and all seek Students' input in her lecture. She get an A+ from me

Take a class with her. Her classes are ones where you can actually feel like you learned communication and critical thinking skills for life. If you've noticed, nobody at NOVA cares about the education because so many aspects of the institution is irrelevant and ineffective. Professor Daily will rekindle your desire to learn. Would retake.

Ms. Daily spend time after classw students on ind quest. Always on time and never missed classes or deadlines. Yes, she doesn't use BB, but provided printed instruct. Work: 4 essays, 2 easy test and she gives lots extra optcredit assig. 4 improv. grades. She wants students to learn & become critical thinkers. Easy A if you work for it.

As I observe the ratings I am kind of puzzled. I took her class during the summer and enjoyed it. She does not use blackboard. Her class is not an easy A but by doing all the assignments and readings, a person will be fine. From experience,there were intellectual discussions about understanding humanity and great laugher from reading stories.

This woman is all over the place during lectures, and I don't always know what it is that she's trying to say. She's also a harsh grader, and gives really bad feedback to anyone who wants to do better.
