Awesome prof, awesome course content. The course was really interesting, and Diane only makes it more interesting. Contrary to what you may believe, this course ties in a fair bit with the Supernatural folklore course she teaches. Highly recommend it. She's a bit tough on marks, but not too bad, and very fair. Diane will make you love folklore!

This course is awesome! The BEST course I've done at MUN so far. I HIGHLY reccomend Diane!She is really interesting. The content is excellent and very interesting. Bit of a hard marker, but fair. Comment:

Not a hard marker at all! She even changed students marks on the mid-term if they knew what they were talking about and just didn't write it properly on the exam. Her exams are crystal clear and all you really need to know are the definitions, but make sure you go to class as everything comes from her notes! Such a good prof!

I found she was a really hard marker and her tests were really hard. She was also very rude to students when they asked questions and put them on the spot alot. The course content was amazing though. I loved it. Her T.A Joy is as cute as could be. She was so nice.

Loved this topic and she does too! She not only knows the academics but she has great Friday afternoon stories! Tests are mostly definitions from the notes more so than the texts. Go to class, lots of 2%ers and Diane is VERY interesting! Very knowledgeable!

Excellent Proff! Definitly one of the best courses I have taken in mun. She is always willing to help her students and make the class extremely interesting. Can't say enough good things about this woman. An excellent and helpful prof, and an interesting and intelligent folklorist. Made an already interesting subject even more fantastic. She expects you to READ, so do it. It is university after all! But she will help you with anything!

Diane is an awesome teacher! Folklore 3606 was the best course I did at MUN. She's really funny and her stories are great! Her tests are REALLY easy if you pay attention in class which is easy b/c it is so interesting.

Goldstein is a great Prof. She's clear, and straightforward, and makes the class very, very interesting. If you love mysterious things, you'll love this course. The huge paper is definetly worth it! If you manage to get in to this class, don't miss any of it! It's great!!
