Ok so shes an ok prof if u actually want to learn! The class was hard but i learned alot and she actually is a really sweet woman! Shes a lil crazy at times, and laughs at her own jokes but shes funny... if u gotta take it go ahead shes not that bad!

Comment:

Probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Uses Blackboard a ton (notes, Power Points, etc), but always adds on to them in class in detail, so it pays to show up. Conscientious of student progress - she'll help you out if you put in the effort. I've taken two classes with her so far; definitely schedule in one of her classes if you can.

Ok, being honest: I personally loved her class. It was what a college class should be. You actually had to LEARN, unlike other classes where you can just show up and that's it. She is sweet and knows her stuff. I recommend her! One thing: Don't bother buying the book, and make sure to check "Blackboard" at least twice a day

I had her for physical Anthro. Good class, I learned a lot but she was somewhat scatterbrained because she had a lot going on. Hard tests and lots of work. You will be busy but I thought it was worth it cause I learned a lot. Would take her again.

There really wasnt much of a need to take notes in class. The best way to do it is to buy a binder and a hole puncher, she puts everything on power point. Print it all out then take notes on that. I'm not sure how but I managed to get a b+, speak up and she'll help you out.

I love her! Her class is extremely hard, but she makes it as interesting as possible.TONS OF WORK-one after another.She's strict but if you care about learning & doing well in her class,she'll do anything in her power to help you.Tests are kinda hard, assignments/labs very hard & she doesnt grade them easy. Great teacher 4 a hard class! Nice lady.

I think she's bipolar, or is not all there. She's a nice lady...obsessed with anthropology...does not teach like its an intro class. Fun projects though. She was always bringing us in food. Always keeps you at least ten minutes after class. Lots of work...good thing she lets you take it pass/no credit until the last day of class. Brutal exams.

I totally agree with the other comments. If you take this course with her, expect to do graduate school amounts of work. If you have a lot of other classes that are more important to take for your major, don't take her because the workload will take up ALL your time. expect to read the book, webct, powerpoints, and lectures on webct everyday.

AWESOME teacher. tests were a little tricky but not too bad and her lectures are really interesting. some of the material is pretty tough, esp. the hominid part, but take notes and definitely read or you'll be completely lost. lets you wait til the last week of the semester to decide whether to take the class pass/no credit.

DR.M ROCKS. Loved every class. Its alot of work. I was in the 1st forensics and it was my hardest but most awesome class ever. To do well in her classes you have to want to learn, if your just taking it to get the elective it wont happen. Since its part of a minor track there's actual work... duh!
