I've always gotten A's in English, and in this class she doesn't give anybody over a C. Her notes are scattered and confusing. Insanely hard marker, very monotone. Your whole grade is based off of only 5 assignments. Honestly feels like this class is a waste of time, you hardly learn anything and most likely won't get higher than a C anyways.

worst teacher i've ever had in my life. she taught absolutely nothing. lectures are long, boring and dry. she gets angry at you for going to the bathroom and going on your phone. she is a very unreasonable prof. DO NOT TAKE HER.

For an English teacher, not good with words to better explain when you don't understand her the 1st time. Condescending if you don't agree with her, and though she doesn't seem like it at first, you can tell she's very close-minded. If you use a tablet with a keyboard to take notes, be prepared to be called out multiple times for using a "phone".

Try you're best to not take her class. She easily goes off topic during class and much of the thing that you talk about in class do not help for assignments. Also a lot of notes you need to write down as she has it all in a word document that she doesn't print out or put on a class website (not that she has one or set one up).

Lectures are long, boring, and very far from engaging. Diane reads off her little podium and is very narrow-minded. In an English class, she accepts only her opinion and isn't open to any interpretation different from hers. If your essay is on the longer side of the required length, she will write "I stopped editing here."

She grades you harsh, her lectures are dull (even for an english class), and I have not felt like i've actually learned anything at all in this class. This is the english teacher you dread. avoid diane at all costs!! locks the door the minute class starts and calls you out in front of everyone if you're late. lots and lots of reading for this class. extremely hard marker, too many in class assignments that she expects too much from. i didn't see her give a mark above a 70% and that is if she decides to grade your paper at all

It was a real shock going from highschool english into English 1100, especially with her. She is a tough marker like most English teachers are. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does, and will definitely help you if you are struggling. I thought she was a great teacher, and I feel I greatly improved on my writing skills.

She's not as bad as people say she is. Her lectures aren't the most interesting thing but she DOES try. She's a tough marker but once you get an understanding of what she looks for in written assignments you'll get a decent mark. She writes good feedback as well and tells you what your strengthsweaknesses are in the assigned essays

Diane will provide notes and notes are displayed on the overhead as well.This is helpful because the tested material is provided to you and if you show up to class you will recieve it. **Some novels are basically an optional read because you are given a choice for essay topics on exams and at-home assignements.** May assign very long novels!
