dodd the bod as i refer to him is one of the major pain in the asses of UNM... took his class solely for enrichment, and ended up dreading every hour i had to listen to the bonehead...I'm still not sure how to get group points in his class?!?!

Dr. Bogart is a very pecular character. He's been at UNM since 77 (or longer) we're not sure. He's no B.S. HARD PROFESOR It's his way or the highway. The book he uses is great, and Dr. B uses an extensive library of Video Documentaries that are great. His tests are very hard, but he gives you practice tests to work on. Study and you will pass.

he knows sociology but he does not know the answers to his test questions or at least he will not answer them in class! he uses the same test bank questions every year. if you want to do well memorize 50 tests and 500 test questions!

I found his courses easy and well organized. Lectures were entertaining and interesting and he did not read from the book. Note taking is important for his teching style, but the courses are not really that difficult.

Lots of students seem to have trouble with this teacher, and his assignments are not always clear, but his test expectations are obvious since he posts half the questions online in the form of old tests. The lectures are dull, but a nice teacher.

I found his class very difficult. I think many people are scared of his testing style because your grade depends on the class curve. I spent much more time in this class compared to my others. Good if your a soc/crim major otherwise stay away.

This class was so difficult, Bogart confused himself. If you want to watch a bunch of depressing videos, take a class with this guy. Oh, and "significant specifics" is his favorite word.

One of the worst teachers I have EVER had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy at all costs. Too many reasons to list as to why he is bad and should just retire from teaching for the sake of students everwhere.

I received an A in this class, despite is extreme difficulty. seems to be a bit full of himself. difficulty of the class is far greater than most senior level courses. I worked 3-4 times as much in this class as any other I have taken.

Deviant Behavior is what I had him for. God this man could talk for hours. Do yourself a favor and take the course with a different prof. I also found he was extremley rude and unapproachable.
