I liked his unique grading system, he provides students with grading options which gives you flexibility. He doesn't talk much about texbook material in class, giving you instead real life examples which I think is much more interesting than just listening things which are already covered in the book. Not that bad prof. as everybody is complaining.

the most ridiculous prof I've ever seen. talks **** in class. i know more about his loser personal life than i do about finance. Somehow i got a good grade, but i think it was by luck. I'd drop his class in a second and maybe even change major.

I don't know how people get the good grade in his class. I attended every class and took notes, read all the material, but barely pass. It's true his grading system is different, and helpful if you go see him. but can't really help. I would drop his class if I knew his class is that bad.

Have to teach yourself. Even that does not help since his exams are hard. He asks you questions you least expect. Classes are a complete waste of time as most of the time, he is off topic and other times, whatever he lectures about is not even tested. Avoid him unless you want to stress yourself out.

Have fun teaching yourself. His lectures have nothing to do with the book, even though he says that the exam is like the book's problems. He asks you to participate in class and on first class but when you do often he might stop answering and publicly humiliate you. Oh yeah, he's arrogant and bitter too! Teachers like him give JMSB profs a bad name

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** He is emotionnally unstable and prone to tantrums. Makes up assignments as he goes and gives a term exam and final within 2 wks of each other that cover same material. After one of his tantrums he stopped suggesting chapter problems, we were to do them all!? The book (which is $$ and not great) saved the course. HORRIBLE!

Thinks he's the most helpful teacher while he's not. Doesn't even know what time the class ends. exams: 20 MC +2 short questions. tests ur luck more than ur knowledge. boring lectures. easily angered. worst teacher ever. to avoid absolutely.

By far the worst teacher I have had in all my life. I could have gotten the same grade without attending a single class. Extremely rude and unfair, post assignments at the last minute, insults students by posting their e-mails on first class. Even if it means staying an extra semester, avoid this teacher.

Honest, decent, helpful, fair teacher. He is brilliant but sometimes maybe too nice to students. His lectures are very phylosophical which is a change from the usual discussion of theory that doesn't apply in real life. Very conceptual.
