This class was boring. He gives chapter quizzes which aren't that difficult, but definately specific. And his midterm and final were horrible. So many words and details that I had trouble focusing. Some of his lectures were interesting, but the majority were dull. He knows his stuff, but he's just not that clear.

I loved takin Ryks class...I thought he was a good prof, and explained stuff if you were unclear about it..Although I must agree his chapter quizzes were relatively easy but the exams are brutal!! Take the time to study and read each chapter

Dolf is an okay prof. His quizzes are easy but his midterm and final exams were challenging. All his tests are multiple choice. Some of the videos he showed in class were interesting but some of the material he teaches can be boring at times. He does give a few bonus marks. Overall, I got a B in the course.

Slightly boring in class, teaches closely with the textbook. Not a bad teacher, so long as you read over each chapter and do the practice tests online, you'll do fine. All midterms, quizzes, and even the final was pure multiple choice, and he gave plenty of bonus marks and easy grade boosters. Never had so many marks given for free.. good prof :)

This professor definately knows his stuff. 2 BAD HE DSNT KNOW HOW 2 TEACH IT TO YOU.classes are deathly boring but better go 2 them as he will test you on in class discuss, as well as stuff that was NOT even covered in class or the text book for that matter.Read the book and study every experiment if you want a good grade.marks like a 300 lvl class

Did very little teaching, majority of class taken up by presentations. Notes were hard to follow and we were left to cover the majority of the last third of the course by ourselves. Even though there was only one class devoted to the last two chapters we were expected to know them in extensive detail for the exam. He knows his stuff but poor prof.

Prof is very dry, hard to listen to! Puts me to sleep. Was very interested in this class until I got into it,b/c this prof does not know how to teach,maybe's he's smart but doesn't know how to teach...he loses his students attention b/c he's so boring & uninteresting!! If you get this so called prof...RUN!!!
