Great prof, if you hate acting/public speaking this class is a great way to ease that fear. Creates an extremely warm/comforting environment. Offers great advice & creates an engaging class. A little harsh on grading papers, but put in a little extra effort & it pays off. Great class. Highly recommend. Easy open bk midterm/final.

Professor Anderson is one of the best English instructors at Marist. One of the few English professors that would actually allow you to show him a rough draft prior to paper submission. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - Grade Breakdown: 35% Exam I/II, 45% Papers ( 3 Reaction Papers , 20% Class Participation

Dr. Anderson is a great instructor in both conveying literature using effective pedadogical skills and initiating insightful class discussion. Although he can be a tough grader on papers, the assigned readings are moderate and encompass a wide array of male and female poets, playrights and novel authors. Dr. Anderson is extremely approachable.

A lot of readings. Very, very hard grader on papers. Assignments are short, though, and not much effort was needed to get his work done. If you're taking this class for core, your GPA may suffer from this class.

Dr. Anderson is pretty awesome. The class is fairly easy. You get to do a lot of performances, which are fun because you bond with everyone in your class. There was only one quiz and a few written assignments. Our final was to write our own scene and have other members of the class act it out.

My favorite Honors class I've taken. The papers he assigns are very creative and fun to write. The final project can be on anything you want and you can present it any way that you want. Class is discussion based and he likes when everyone gets involved. A few group mini projects and a few fun papers, definitely a great class to take!

Amazing professor.. Really gets you to explore your writing style and work at own pace. Always willing to help/workshop your pieces. Grades based on participation, mid-term commentary, and final portfolio. If you like writing and in any way creative.. this is an easy A! I would take a class with him again in a heart beat...

Mid-term was suprising, but if you showed up to class and read the plays, that are real interesting, you will do good. Medium grader, is open and encourages any new ideas you have. He makes Drama fun, and keeps learning involed to. Just want to take Drama
