By far the worst professor I've had. Class hinders my ability to learn, rather than helping. Carnahan has somehow found a way to make this seemingly easy course extremely complex through his "teaching".Luckily for the university and all students, he has announced his retirement. Maybe he too has realized how inept he is as a professor

He doesn't explain the problems very well. Also the daily routine is that he works problems from the homework that we don't understand then he does basically 2 problems from the new homework and then assigns us all the odd problms, eventhough they all might not be on the test.

Horrible teacher. Sincerely tries to teach, but is just horrible at it. Doesn't look assigned homework over at all, and then assigns all the odd numbered problems of each section, then gets confused himself when he works about five problems that the classes chooses for him to work the following day. Take Ken Shores for Cal 1 instead.

He made Cal 2 easy! We had to do every odd number problem in each section but that was the worse part. We had at least a 10 point curve on each test and our lowest test got dropped. I would defiantly take him again.

Rather ok teacher. 4 tests, worth 100 points each, plus a final worth 150 points. homework worth 100 points. Helps explain the homework, but could do a better job of doing so. Drops the lowest score you make on the 100 point tests. Does not curve though. It's not great, but not really bad either.

He's very helpful and approachable. Has a sense of humor. Had him for Cal 2, the hardest cal, and I guess I'm doing alright. Could do better if I wasnt in Chemistry... Good teacher, I would recommend him to anyone.
