Very intelligent professor. Smart. Helpful. Has a tendancy to try and cram material before exams. Exams are tricky but back-tests are helpful. Homework is usually impossible but he grades on effort. Overall good and not too hard.

Comment:

Don is one of the few professors at RPI who truly cares about the welfare and success of his students. He has a real knack for breaking down the complex material, but more importantly, Don is a really interesting design-oriented professor who regularly ties coursework back to real-life examples. Visit him outside of class for maximum benefit!

Millard is the best professor at RPI and he should just teach every class, so maybe we could actually learn something at this school. He is so helpful and explains things wonderfully. He is just awesome and I loved his giutar.

Has a great knowledge of subject and makes it much easier to learn. He plays guitar and is quite good, so he uses that to teach about 2nd order differential equations.

Comment:

Good professor, easy to understand. Nice guy too. Never laughed when someone asked for help (that I saw). Test b4 Thanks. break was on Mon., it was planned in the beg. of the semester, so no complaints here. Rather take it then than have to study over break. This wasn't the popular opinion, but he had our best interests in mind.

Well I never had a problem with this teacher, actually I would of recommended him as a good teacher.However after the class pleaded with him and asked to have the test postponed he STILL had it on the day before thanksgiving break.I wanted to go see my family early since my grandpa is sick, but now i'm taking a circuits test 7-9. He's a good teacher when you pay attention in class. HOWEVER: I find myself utterly terrified to attend thte review sessions because people keep telling me how scary he is when you ask for help. I've seen him get asked a question in class and respond with "*snicker* Come on now." It's not funny! TESTS ON THANKSGIVING??? NOOO! Kthxbye.

millard is a good prof. But he can also be very cocky and hard to appraoch at times. regularly ignores emails, and even laughs at students (to their faces) when they can't understand something he feels is easy (after all..he is the prof.). Unfortunately, he's probably the better professor for this class.

class was fun, the work was sometimes hard but he was helpful. as long as you pay attention in class its easy. reading the book doesn't do too much harm either and there isn't that much of it. and if you ask enough he will bring in his electric guitar and play.

Didn't have him as a prof. but he was the course coordinator for circuits. Regularly ignored my emails regarding projects and even the final exam, while answering others' questions same day. Review sessions can be helpful, tests are a real pain.

Awesome proffesor. The tests are easy if you prepare for them (do the sample exams and go to the review), and he teaches in a way that provides an understanding of the underlying theory and methods, especially with regards to real-world uses.

He's a cocky guy and thinks he's smarter than he really is.He knows a thing or two about circuits and he thinks he's einstein. He's very discouraging to students and loves to put them down. The absolute worst professor I've ever had! I don't ever want him again.

don is a top notch intellectual and professor. he can teach, he can code, he can design, produce, direct, create. he is a little lacking in the email communication and can miss class from time to time.
