Donald Forsythe is the worst professor I've had at Messiah. His feedback is overly critical and not constructive AT ALL. He builds up the students who are doing well and fails the ones who struggle without reaching out to help them. DO NOT take this class unless you're naturally awesome at photography or want to spend your life in the photo lab.

Dr. Forsythe is an excellent professor. He is funny, clear, reasonable and helps you to enjoy photography as much as he does. He's one of the best profs I've ever had at Messiah and Photo 1 has been my favorite class.

This man knows Printmaking, he is kind and little bit forgetful. ART 330 is a terrific class, please take it if you can. critics were not terribly helpful, but you learn a lot working throught the processes. and it's fun!

Don is absolutely amazing! He did not choose favorites, but rather met each student at their level and worked with them towards better photos--both creatively and technically. Down to earth, great sense of humor, relaxed, knowledgeable, includes faith genuinely, inspiring guy. He'll make you wish Messiah had a photo major so you could switch to it

He's sooo nice! Has a rather goofy, dry sense of humor. Very helpful and understanding
