His class is not easy by any means,but if you really care about your grade and work hard,its not hard!He's a great teacher!Tests are all essay,but he gives you topics before the test.Then you have to write 2 essays on the test(the only bad hard thing is,you dont know which essays he'll pick!)But, you dont have to memorize any dates!Great teacher:)

Dr. Fries is great. He will lecture you without any notes. He's a genius and knows his stuff. He came give you dates, times, places and names without hesistation. He will also add a story in here and there to keep your attention and make class fun. His tests can be hard since they're essay. If you take notes you'll be fine.

Dr. Fries made the class interesting. The time flies by when he's lecturing, and his little side stories are alway amusing. Tests are all essay, but if you take notes on his lectures, you already have the answer. I recommend taking his class.

dr. fries is the best. the books are a little bit tedious to have to read, but i'm glad they're not ridiculously long and not insanely hard to understand. and he's just such a cool guy! i love how he's always talking about beer, lol.
