Just do the work and it will come to you. His exams are usually questions like his examples but with application. If you don't know calculus expect to be reading through the text book. Stay ahead because you may get left behind but Hunt is one of the funniest and most enjoyable teachers.

A very tough grader. He expects you to understand mathematical concepts very quickly after presenting them in class, but is always willing to offer help when asked. On top of that he is one of the nicest professors I had.

Well, lets just say he's ridiculous. Move VERY fast. Explains very little. Like to derive equations then quit. Likes to assign A LOT of homework. His exams are impossible. He throws things on it that you've never seen before. If you get him. Best of luck to you.

i had him for calc 1,2,3 not a bad teacher. he has a terrible method of grading homework. his tests are over a bunch of material but they are not that bad. he usually has one tough test the whole year. he does not give a lot of examples in class but he will explain anything if you ask.

He goes very quickly through the material and tends to not explain himself. The boardwork, homework, and attendance is a killer so make sure you do well in those categories. If you are just learing calc, take another professor. It's not worth the struggle to deal with him.

Don't take this course if you need examples gone over in class. He will sometimes help you if you come by after class, it's really just a flip of the coin. Very hard if you don't know anything about calculus. Went to fast for me

For Calculas 2, he seemed ok, but I had already knew the material, but for Calculas 3, he was hard. He didn't explain much at all. He spend more time on proofs in class than on practical examples. I had to learn everything outside of class

Worst prof ever. Doesn't exlain anything so that you can understand him. Worst homework ethics ever. Tests aren't to bad, but he takes off alot for little things that will drop your grade, so you can feel you did well, then still fail. It is nice that the notes are on the network, but he assigns homework over stuff he doesn't teach, and collects it

He wrote up notes everyday and put them on the overhead, but they were just what the book said. He would then proceed just to read them. Difficult to follow. Insisted on keeping us 3-4 minutes extra almost everyday. I wanted to ask him for outside help, but I just couldn't deal with his horrible odor any more than I had to in class...

I took both Calc 2 and 3. You hate his class at first but its not that bad. Depending on how well you understand, you usually either do well on his quizzes (from hmwk)(use answer help disks) or his tests (simplified problems). He's really nice 1on1 but most of the time you have no idea what he is saying in class. GO TO CLASS- free points
