Comment:

He was one of my favorite professors ever. He gives 3 homework and tests not cumulative. He is always available for help. He will do question by question on homework until you understand . He gives good partial credit. He cares a lot about his students. I took him for both ec111 and ec112. Most people take him twice

Comment:

Whole semester we only got 3 homeworks and 3 tests (1 being the final). But each homework made you think and work for each answer. Also the homeworks were similar to the test so if you went to him for help on the homework you would do great on the test. He is an amazing professor who cares about his students and economics. Take this class.

Professor Johnson is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is passionate about economics, and explains material well. Intimidating at first, but overall funny and an understanding guy. Genuinely wants his students to learn something, so don't be afraid to ask questions or go for extra help. Would definitely take again!

Donn is probably the best teacher I've ever had. The material is challenging, but he is very passionate about economics, and explains even the most difficult material well. He also loves his students. You can talk to him about anything, and he'll often pause class to tell 1 of his many entertaining stories. A great professor, and a great person.

Never had a professor who made me challenge myself like he did. You could talk to this dude about anything not just economics topics. Recommend this professor if your willing to learn economics and have a genuine interest. You will learn a lot from him. Just 3 test in the class nothing else for grading. DONT SKIP CLASS.

Although the tests are tough it's alot easier with his review sheet. The questions on the sheet are similar to what's on his test. He is open for office hours where he'll explain the questions for you. And you can always be sure to see him pull out some great sweater.

Dr. Johnson is the man! Everyone in my class liked him, even the kids who didn't do well. Workload is very easy-- three papers and three tests, that's it. Show up to class and visit his office for questions, you're guaranteed a good grade. He's awesome, you can't not like this guy

Though at times he can be rather boring if you are at all interested in Econ and learning I would definitely recommend taking him. Though the tests are challenging if you see him prior to the tests he practically shows you the questions that will be on them. I would take him again I enjoyed learning from him and I felt as though I learned alot

He is by far the best professor i have had. He really knows and loves economics and knows how to teach it. He doesnt write much on the bored and you take notes based on what he says. He is quite challenging but you learn a lot and the class is definitely worth taking. I highly recommend taking him, i wish i could take him again next semester.

Prof. Johnson is very boring and rather than writing information on the board, he instead verbalizes everything so note taking is critical. Tests are nearly impossible, no extra credit given, and homeworks are difficult as well. Does not take attendance however. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS TEACHER!

Definitely the best professor at Quinnipiac. Rediculously knowledgeable on anything you could possibly ask about. If you want to take a class for requirement and never use it again, take someone else. If you want to actually learn useful ways of thinking, take him, and be willing to devote time for it.

Presents lectures in unorganized manner, no notes/handouts provided, makes degrogatory comments to students who don't understand, unapproachable, thinks everything is "easy", does not facilitate a class discussion, and favors certain students.This is the 1st professor at QU that made a class unenjoyable

Great guy! Class was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. He lets you hand in drafts on essays and gives you an opportunity to add points to your test if you correct it. He's always available to meet. I would definitely recommend him.

Great teacher. The class is ridiculously hard but he does a great job teaching it. He is very accessible at all times and is a very nice and funny guy. By far, my best professor to date.
