I took Donna for Kines 126 and 127 this summer and LOVED her! She is so down to earth and makes class fun. She gives clear instructions on what she expects of you and provides great feedback. She tells personal stories that really help drive points home and makes you remember the information. I would take her for every education class if I could!

Donna is the MAN. No, you know what? She's the WOMAN. Because she understands and cares about teaching, her students and physical education. I hated physical education and never wanted to learn about it; she made it fun, interesting, and useful to learn in her class. Definitely a help for el. ed. majors. Awesome teacher!! :)

Seriously...I didn't kiss ass this semester and I got an A. It's a really easy class, just pay attention and seriously, it's really just a fun class. I mean, you play with parachutes and scooters! It's fun, Donna's pretty helpful when it comes to tying in elementary ed stuff. I really enjoyed the class! And no you don't need to kiss ass!

This class is alot of fun because you get to play such a variety of games and if you do everything she asks you should do pretty well. However she does play favorites and that can have a slight impact on your grade. Also her mood that day can have an impact so it is important to have your clinic organized well and to be enthusiastic at all times.

Donna is quite possibly my favorite teacher at Penn State. If you have the opportunity to take a class with her, you should without a doubt take it. She is the easiest grader and makes learning a lot of fun. You will have so much fun playing games that you havent played since you were in elementary school, such as kickball and four squares.
