This class was definitely challenging. Dr. Planck does want her students to succeed but, at least this semester, she wasn't really on top of her game. She is super passionate about biology and the class was enjoyable, but it was very VERY hard to succeed in it.

She is an absolutely amazing professor... probably my favourite ever! Don't get me wrong - she's hard, real tough BUT she's so so helpful so never hesitate to ask questions! She's also HILARIOUS, her lectures are amazing. Don't skip them!!! You learn so much during every single one of em. Study long in advance for exams... she packs a lot in them!

She is was not only a great and passionate professor, she is an amazing woman. If you don't walk away from her class loving her, you did something wrong. She is an incredible person. Just do your work and go to her if you ever need any help and you will get the grade you deserve and earned.

Dr. Plank is the best teacher at Pepperdine. She is passionate about her students as well as the material she teaches. She is one of the most brilliant, inspiring people I have met and goes above and beyond to get to know each student and encourage them to do their best. I would re-take this class every semester if I could!

Plank is a great professor, she really delivers the small school Pepperdine experience that everyone talks about. Her tests are no joke and believe her when she says you need to study as you go and not cram. The best thing I ever did was record class and listen to it while filling out my study guides. All of the information is NOT in the book.

I took the first part of the class and withdrew because I decided science was not my thing. Having said that, know this: you HAVE to have a good science background to take this class. But it's not all grueling work...Professor Plank was amazing and shows a lot of care for her students. If you are sure you want to take the class, take her section!

Always go to class, pay attention and take notes. She uses every minute of class because theres a lot of information. She teaches quickly but is very clear and always willing to explain if you have questions. Extremely nice and funny. Invites students to her house for reviews before tests. Great lab also, lets you design your experiments. Love her!
