I think she may be retiring this year but not sure! She's very helpful by giving a gadzillion practice fill-ins AND the answers on her webpage! Her notes are fantastic and she hints around a lot as to whats on her tests! she even gives extra tutorials! very good, one of the best in bio for sure!

Class was fun becasue of her crazy antics things stuck in my head. Not a boring class, people are rude and talking non-stop. But class itself was very helpful. Very friendly and showed up in labs to lead a hand. If she was teaching longer I would recommend her class to anyone.

Dear lord, if you wanna continue to like biology after taking 1001 do not get doreen. I mean she rambles on and on adding um, yeah, unnnn, in for every second word. My advice switch class NOW. Plus she likes to make fun of you if you get questions wrong that she deems "easy".

And uh in effect, uh, I could't go to this, uh, class, because in effect, it was obviously painfully boring. Although, the tests were real easy and she marks fair enough, just make sure you have a break after her class so you can get a coffee or something, cause you'll need it.

okay she's not as bad as it seems. yes, her lectures are painfully boring, yes, she's the worst public speaker ever. but she sincerely loves the subject, does mark very fairly and if you learn her notes (all posted on the net ahead of time!) you WILL do well in the course.
