Womens History Class- pretty easy assignments, very fun heated class discussions (best part of the class). you watch a few movies, but have to read the whole text book. its only like $15. there are study groups an hour before class that are EXTREMELY helpful! saved my quiz grades!!

Dr. Turkes is an extremely good professor. While she expects a lot from her students, thats what you go to college for. Her lectures, notes, and text prepare you well for class as long as you attend and are not lazy. Those who do poorly do not do the work and its their own faults

This class was by far the worst, boring, most difficult class I had the whole semester. Her tests are very difficult. The best grade I got on one was a 74%. You have to read a heck of a lot in that class. The textbook is your best friend. She only teaches about 1/2 of what is going to be on the test. The rest you need to read on your own.

This class is very fun and interesting.Dr. Turkes is a great professor. She makes the class fun, she's down to earth and always willing to help. She has rules that she lieks to be followed but she's not overly mean. she's a nice personand i recommend this class!

This class is a lot of work in order to keep an A... but you HAVE to read... A LOT. She's an amazing professor and could become a good friend if you need someone to talk she's always willing. She's extremely helpful to first-year students. She's always giving advice on how to study and so on.. So listen cause they actually help.

The class was very interesting and fun! She knows her material *extremely* well and her lectures are quite entertaining (e.g., interesting topics such as; suicide/Durkheim, sociological history, etc.). Exams are multiple choice and if you study, its nothing too hard. Reccomended, two thumbs up!
