He's a jolly guy. I got average grades on the first 2 tests, then i kicked it up and got A's on the last 2 exams and final. I got an A- in the end. Recording lectures works great. Lab is dull and annoying.

Dr. Fonner is, by far, the best P1 professor. He cares about his students and will answer any questions that you have regarding the material. The tests aren't hard because he gives you old exams to study from. I'm so glad that I get to have him as a professor again next semester! FYI: Don't buy the textbook.

An excellent professor, and easy to talk to. Make sure you know the material back to front though, his tests are a bit tricky. I'd suggest taking this course with a light semester schedule, as you will need to devote a lot of time to it.

Kinda flakey but I guess he's a pretty good teacher. I hated lab, I didn't think he was that helpful there. Makes me sleepy in lecture, but he's very flexible about changing his test dates so they don't conflict with others. I wouldn't say he's the best, but he's better than most.

Very approchable and cares about your completion of the class. Tests can have suprises on them, but that should be expected with how many old verions are around to study from. You have to know the material not just memorize questions. Best P1 teacher.

The Fonz is AWESOME!!! His tests are difficult, but manageable and he will gladly help you with anything you have problems with. The only P1 teacher that REALLY cares about his students. Doug is the best!
