Comment:

Had this prof for Intro Geography and Intro Global Studies. Requirements were clearly laid out, classes were on time and tremendously interesting. Lots of variation in how material was covered, huge emphasis on individual study. Does not suffer fools or slackers; will bend over backward to help hard workers. Work hard =good grade; slack=fail.

If you hate sitting in the classroom everyday then take Doug! You will only meet for the first month or so then you go on some short field work. After that it's research own your own. Doug is always easy to reach and ready to help. He will have you creating real publication quality papers 30+pages.
