Dr. Lonnstrom is the sweetest man. He is very smart and experienced and knows what he is talking about. His classes are not based around the computer and labs are really easy. All homework is hand written and is graded based on his trust that you completed it. Test are really hard, but they are all open book and note.

He's a very nice guy but his teaching style and lack of clarity really made this class difficult for me. What I really did not like about his class were the test structure. His test are mostly conceptual and only 40% is actual math, which just did not help me do well. Nice guy but don't think he's a 4.7 more like 3.2-3.5

Taking his class makes you feel like you are in elementary school again. He doesn't write on the board, he only uses overheads. Plus, he spends half an hour every class going over all of the homework from the class before. He is a nice guy but pretty boring.

Took this guy based on all the wonderful reviews here. Now I know otherwise. He's definitely a nice guy and has the right intentions, but he's about as clear as mud when it comes down to it. He likes to use overheads so he doesn't have to write on the board (makes it very hard to follow) and his exam multiple choices are impossible. DO NOT TAKE HIM

Dr. Lonnstrom is a great professor. Makes things very clear and strips them down to a very digestible form. Tests are open book and he doesn't use tricks. Pay attention, study, and you are assured of an A. 2 Tests, a final, and a project make up you're grade.

He is a great professor and is open to questions and always willing to help you, inside and outside of class. He tries to explain things in a way that you will understand.
