Gee, I wish that in an Advanced Methods course I could have learned something about methodology or analysis, instead of a guy telling me my grammar was horrible for 4 months, talking about his daughters and Manitoba. He also gives out really personal advice that is mostly unwanted and unasked for.

Doug provided ALOT of feedback which was extremely helpful. Alot of assignments but all focused toward the bigger final paper so once you had to write it, it was almost finished. Nice guy.

I love this man! He is a clear and effective lecturer. He does give a number of anecdotes but they are all relevant to the course material and are great for remembering concepts. I would definitely recommend this class to everyone. Believe it or not, I actually look forward to lectures~!~

Wanna know a secret? Doug exploits his own students by making them do research for him so that he can make his firm look better. That's the *real* reason he assigns pointless "case studies." The Internet is filled with his name partly because he uses his students. If you wanna be handled, take Doug.

Doug is very clear, he keeps his lectures organized and simple, and repeats things to make sure you get it. His exams are awesome, he gives you the Qs ahead of time :) This was a fun and engaging class. Don't expect environmental psych, it's an ecology (cbsm) class ;) Approachable and friendly!

Env. Psyc. isn't even a real psyc class. It's just a guy talking about David Suzuki stuff and once in a while going off on a tangent about his daughters. It's true that just because you can call him Doug doesn't make him your friend. He doesn't seem to care about or like his students.
