I LOVED Doctor Greene. His lectures are full of life and character; I'm convinced that he knows everyone in England at this point. He's incredibly understanding about illness or travel. The only caveat I had was that he doesn't give good study guides and his tests are out of nowhere; but he grades very easily. Take him if you can!

His tests basically come from the powerpoints given in class. 10pts taken away for each day your not there. His speech will keep you interested and as long as you read the books for the essays and study the powerpoints you'll do fine. I would definitely recommend him.

Quizzes at the beginning can be difficult if you don't read the textbook. You can probably manage the essays without reading the books...I did well on the essays by reading sparknotes...I got a B- in the class without reading a single page in the textbook. But paying attention during the lectures is a MUST.

Dr. Greene is an excellent professor who is very knowledgable of the material. His expertise is really in writing which is what helped me discover my weaknesses. If he wanted me to rewrite again, I would with no questions because there'd be even more roome for perfection.

Dr. Greene was by far one of the msot heartless professors I have ever had. His TA do not want to be there and they are rude! My grade was miscalculated and I thought I passed, but come to find out I didnt. There was too much reasing and work for a 100 level, 3 credit class. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR. His test are ridiculous!

His lectures are interesting when he speaks about a topic you have heard or learned about before. I don't know what's the deal with the blue books we have to use for exams. His exams are straight forward from lectures, so study them near exam time. I don't like that we have to read a long chapter of a textbook everyday with a quiz the next day.

Dr. Greene is a very professor who definitely knows his stuff. Can drag his jokes on but overall an interesting class if you let it be. TAs did weekly textbook quizzes so you do use your book. Lot of reading but overall good class.

Be aware that he is long winded, but really creates some very interesting jokes, which is sometimes funny. Read your textbook for the quizzes, but really listen to lectures, because that is what is going to be on the exams. lectures might be a chapter behind from where it is surpose to be, so don't freak out. Other than that this class is okay.

This class is so biased...the professor teaches his version of history. There are 200 + students in the class so forget individual attention. The grad assistants are slaves to taking attendance and they look as if they don't want to be there. For a freshman 100 level class this class should be 6 credits...it is a LOT of work and reading.

A very good professor in my book. He was very knowledgeable on the subject matter, and there was definitely a lot of it to cover. Just be prepared to put in a lot of work, because there's a lot of reading to do each week. All in all, I'm really glad I took his class!

Dr. Greene is a very nice funny man (in his 60s).If you take notes on his powerponts you will do fine. His exams are 10 questions you pick 6 and write a paragraph about the topic with a essay at the end. as long as you copy the power point notes down you will be fine thats all the exam is on. Great teacher take this class!!!!

He's very nice. He makes the class somewhat interesting, but he skips around on the time line. The exams are pretty easy. I ended up with a B- and I only read one or two chapters. If you pay attention in class and read most of the chapters you should do good.

Amazing teacher. Yes you have to read, but I learned so much. He is very funny, loves to point out people sleeping in class. Just pay attention to his lectures and right down as much as you can on what he says, it's where all his exam material comes from. Also take note of what he talks about more, it's more likely to be on the test.

Loved him. Took his British history class and not only does he know his stuff but he is amusing. And I didnt think grading was that hard, know your topic and tell what you know and you'll be fine.

This class is a lot of reading. There was 6 different novels/stories assigned on top of textbook reading. If you do all the reading the class is fairly easy. He thinks he's very funny, sometimes he is. Oh and he is very big on religion in history. Exams are alright, easy B if you read! Overall he's an okay professor!
