Nice, smart man but horrible teacher.. All he does is show up to class and starts teaching and writing on the board from were he left off the class before. If you ask a question he just replies with what he said before. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU WANT A GOOD GRADE. I went to class everyday and I was lost the whole time. 4 Test grading is weird

Does not explain math problems. One of those teachers that's "too smart to teach." I was an all A's student in advanced math classes through high school, and I failed his College Algebra class. We ended up learning some word problems that had the same concept and formulas as my Physics 1. Rambles on about scientific theories. Awful.

Avoid this professor at all costs. 3 tests. No homework. Teach yourself the content. I was actually looking forward to this class before taking it because i like math, numbers, and situational probability that i could use, but ended up dropping because i couldn't learn from this guy. Old School. Cannot engage students to learn.

I wouldn't recommend him. He's not a bad professor but he doesn't believe in outside help and he doesn't give homework so if you don't get in class your only option is to go to his office. Your test is the only way to pass so if your not a good test taker DO NOT take him.

I have no idea what this guy is doing teaching. No people skills. You're lucky if he answers your questions. Avoids his office during hours. Didn't know there was a tutor available for the class until after the semester (he didn't tell us). Terrible, just terrible.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! I honestly don't know how I got an A. If you ask him to explain anything over again because you don't understand, he'll say the exact samething he did before and wonder why you still don't get it. Extremely confusing. Only 2 tests and the final, and the textbook is just as hard to understand as he is.

I took this class as my first class at the University level...Hes pretty tough, doesnt always explain topics clearly, the material is honestly pretty hard. Do not, I repeat DO NOT miss class or you will be completely lost. He doesnt give out any extra credit there are only two exams and the final.I dont know how I managed a B. If taken, good luck.

Terrible terrible terrible professor. I love math and I hated this class.no matter how good you take notes, they won't help. Grades are calculated weird and I didn't like the way his tests were formatted. I dreaded it every day. There's always that one smart guy in the class but nobody else knows what's going on. Ended up with a B somehow.

He is extremely hard. All of his tests are focused mainly on one topic and it is very hard to study for. If you want to do well get a tutor from the aarc and do all of the practice problems in the book. Go by and talk to him that may help. If u have the chance to take another teacher DO IT

Not a bad prof. just go to class take notes but when he says you need to read the chapters before coming to class do it. Went through 6 chapters at least we did so not to bad. Grade system really helps bases grades like you get 60% right you get an A and 50% a B gives quizes alot study material they are just bonus points and will help alot.

More concerned with the THEORY behind the math than the actual BUSINESS APPLICATION of it. LEARN THE THEORY BULL HE JOTS ON THE BOARD; it's on both tests and the final. Doesn't really follow the book, and lecture is uneventful. Do your best to take good notes, they follow the test closely. The final counts 50% and can help pull up a low grade.
