This was the best class I ever took at UCF! Hampton is a great professor, very helpful, has a great sense of humor! One of the best things about this class is that everything is done on WebCT, so distance students can participate. Hampton is one of the few UCF professors who uses WebCT effectively.

The class overall isn't that great, so Professor Hampton takes a lot of c*** that he doesn't deserve... STILL, he is unclear and disorganized. Not helpful at all, I actually went to his office hours with a simple question, and he couldn't answer it.

1006 is an easy A, but must show up for the labs. 1007 is also an easy A but has some basic programming in it. Honestly, both class may seem very useless but is mandatory to take if your an engineering major at UCF.

both are fairly easy classes that may seem useless at times...you may have to apply yourself to some of the projects but the rest of the semester is pretty easy

This class is pretty easy. Dr. Hampton discuss alot of information, probably more than necessary. There are weekly quizzes that must be taken on WebCT. He assigns a lot of tedious work, but good professor that provides open communication.

Useless lectures, labs are good. Lots of paper-writing and homework. However, I just got a small research position and one of the tasks I'm assigned is very similar to some of the (what I thought was useless) stuff I did in this class. Orange race rocked!

Useless class, useless professor. Pointless assignments, pointless lectures, pointless labs. Don't ****off your lab group, do the CPS, and you'll get an A just for being in the class.

Grading is really easy, the knowledge gained is that good. Too much too fast. The most work for a single credit that you will ever do at UCF. The good news is, you have to really go out of your way to not get an A in this class.

This class is a really good idea, but handled poorly. My review reflect the classes, not Hampton personally. I think the course is TA driven, not professor driven too. too much stuff is presented, with little detail. Class needs simplification.

When Dr. Hagedoorn was the guest lecturer, one guy got up, said " I hate this blankety blank class", and stormed out, slamming the door. Can't say I blame him.

This is such a silly course. Hampton is somewhat nice, but too narrow-minded. Both of these classes are useless, you could learn everything they offer in a book or on the internet. this class is: inconsistent, unorganized, unnecessary, and a waste of time

You will learn a lot in this class, but it's definitely not worth just one credit, it should be at least 3 or 4 credits worth of work. But it's a very good class; i just wish i knew how much work was involved before signing up.

A lot of work for 1 credit; however, I liked the guest lecturers - there is a lot to be offered at UCF in the engineering field. Word of advice: LEARN WEBCT! This class as well as most others ASSUME you know about all of the computer resources required.
