Comment:

One of the best professors I had the privilege to study under. His classes are full, his teaching methods are great and he explains a problem until every last soul in the room understands it completely. His tests are very hard, but he is generous with the marking. He's full of "wax on, wax off" type of lines, which makes his lectures awesome.

Dr. Wang is a great professor! The comment about him not accepting alternate solutions to problems is untrue. He will accept any answer that is correct, and will always admit if a student has a better solution than him. Dr. Wang is very approachable, and willing to assist any student who needs help. MA233 was one of my favourite courses!

A problem with some math profs is that they often think a solution is wrong if it's not done their way. They won't even bother understanding the student's solution, especially in first and second year. Wang's one of them, but it's more irritating in a course where he's supposedly demonstrating the beauty of clever and creative solutions.

This man is the greatest. He will go absolutely out of his way to help out students. Once you understand his comparisons and can handle his accent you're all set. Loved the Wang!
