I never studied, slept through class and passed the class with a B. However, I had a really good high school biology teacher. His tests tend to stray away from the lecture but a lot of the questions are really obvious if you have any common sense. He also drops your lowest test grade so you aren't screwed if you bomb a test.

My assumption is that those giving Dr. Eddy poor ratings want to be spoon fed. In his classes you get out what you put in and if you are having any trouble he will go out of his way to help you understand. My advise is to put as much effort into studing as you do into creating excuses and you might do well.

Most of the students in Eddy's classes don't pay attention in class and theb wait until the night before to try to study. If you actually study and pay attention it's easy to get a good grade in general biology. There is also some material from the reading on the tests, but not that much. Eddy is also very willing to help any student that asks.
