I've never seen such a careless instructor at BCIT before. Easily the worst one here. Please save your time and money and do not take him for your classes. Get ready to learn everything on your own if you do.

Labs with Eddy were pointless. Couldn't understand much of what he was trying to explain, had to teach myself and do extra reading. He does the minimum required with book exercises that half the set didn't get.

Eddy's tests are fair to the material you cover in the class, but I had to do a lot of extra reading outside of class to understand some basic economics concepts that I felt weren't covered in the lecture material. It takes a few weeks to get used to his teaching style which boils down to "here's a handout now let me read this word for word"

Urgh horrible professor. He talks about how his class average is around 60%, that's really sad. And he doesn't even mark on a curve, makes no sense. I generally never skip lectures but it's absolutely pointless to attend his since he just reads from slides and doesn't explain anything. Plus it's impossible to understand him from his thick accent.

Eddy tends ramble a lot but is over all a nice guy. Like most economic professors, he reads off of all the slides, gives homework and just does the bare minimum. Attendance is not required. When asked for more help to understand the material, he just refers you back to the homework and online work. Replies to emails slow.

Thick accent combined with poor teaching abilities result in uselessness. Loosing IQ points sitting in that class.

Spelling mistakes all over lectures, and even during exams. He will not clarify his spelling mistakes during exams. Show up to every class and he will not fail you.

Eddy is a little hard to understand sometimes because of his accent, but he's a good teacher. The textbook questions he assigns for homework and the review questions he hands out prepare you well for the exams.

Browsed reddit in class when I was there. Played a drinking game where we had to take a swig every time he said "Will that be ok?" Was done in 20 minutes. Follow the given examples and make sure your spreadsheet works for an easy A.

Huge accent, hard to understand sometimes because of that. He does not make use of class time, always go overtime. He assigns way to much hwk, but dont worry he doesnt check. He gives his own question/examples - just focus on that.

Do not have enough academic background to explain anything. Learn nothing from him. He is good at remembering technique but not really making things make sense. I highly do not recommend this class if you want to learn something

Seriously now, his jokes are NOT funny. It's alright though, atleast he's trying to make a boring class interesting. Eddy is pretty standard teacher. He throws the material from the book at you orally, if you don't follow then too bad. Would help if his english was more clear.

Nice prof. tries to be funny but his jokes just .. are not that funny! . he's very hard to understand .. but if you read the book than everythings fine. its the kind of clas where you cna't expect to be spoon fed .. even if there was another teacher that spoke better english .. wouldn't help as much if you dont study or read the book.

worst communicator EVER, i cannot believe that this guy is paid to teach, marks assignments and tests incredibly easily to make up for his inability to convey the subject and make him look like a compentent instructor.
