Comment:

Very clear; he'll go over problems again and again till the class gets it. Uses mastering chemistry which is either helpful or not depending on your approach. Curves some tests but not others; pretty sure the department final is curved. Tests cover exactly what's covered in class.

While I think he is a good teacher, I think he needs to reconsider his method of grading. it's apparent that something isn't right with his method of teaching, testing, or grading. He doesn't believe in curving. Lastly, if you study the quizzes and notes you'll do OK on the test. And, he uses that terrible Mastering Chemistry software!

OMG!! Graham is the worst chemistry teacher ever. this class is so hard. If there is anyway you can take somebody else please take them.He is very knowledgeable in what he teaches but he just has a horrible teaching style. DO NOT TAKE HIM. WARNING!!!

He's the only 1030 teacher in the department so you are forced to take him. Go to class everyday,study hard, do the homework,ask questions, go to study sessions, and review the questions at the end of the chapters. His tests are nothing like the notes he gives you so be extra prepared...even then that might not be enough! Good luck!

Good teacher. Come to class, he gets to know you and knows whether you are there or not. I think he tends to help those who make an effort and attend more than those who do not, but he is very fair. He is a good teacher and will go over things alot, but it really helps with the tests and quizzes. DO THE HOMEWORK!

Dr. Graham is a great teacher. I recommend taking him in the summer when the course is shorter. He will explain a topic till you are sick of hearing it, but you will know what is going on. Do the homework, his tests and quizzes come straight from it.

I am usually an A-B student, and have NEVER failed a course until I started taking Science 1010. It took me three times to actually pass this class... and he was FINALLY the one to actually TEACH the information to us that we needed to know... NSU should really find more Science professors like Graham that actually CARE about the students.
