You won't learn anything in this class. You ask him a question and he will say figure it out yourself, I have given the solution. The lectures are like he is talking to himself rather than the class. AVOID! Test, assignment and one whole chapter in a three hour class and he rushes. No time for questions. Don't buy textbook, just borrow from library

Do yourself a favour and find a different professor! Ed has no idea what he's talking about half the time. He will be teaching a lecture and stop half way through and say "No, sorry that's not right" It's extremely annoying and confusing and he doesn't understand basic questions. Just a bad teacher...

Worst class ever. I hate going to this because of this prof. He doesn't know how to teach all he does is comes to class solve some notes speaks and go. There is no interaction in class, he makes it even boring by just speaking with a low voice. Never take this prof save your self. Take this class only if you can study on your own.

Only take this teacher if you don't work and only take 3 courses maximum. The amount of time you have to put in to self study is ridiculous - I was a person who got A- to A grades for intro accounting courses. You need phenomenal study skills to get more than a C+ in this course.

This professor is brutal! He rushes through his notes and mumbles through entire lectures. If you are able to teach yourself using your textsbook, then you will do OK in his class. Do not waste your time with him and take another prof! Useless and extremely hard exams that he says we should be thankful thats as hard as it is. Useless prof.

Pointlessly difficult tests, the multiple choice tests you on the most pointless things most of which are completely out of left field. The class itself will put most people to sleep because he does nothing to drum up interest. Basically, unless you want to put in a lot of self study that you shouldn't have to skip him and take another teacher.

This class was a nightmare. The multiple choice is extremely wordy and confusing and puts questions not even covered in the book or notes. Purposely words some questions confusing because he feels they'd be too easy otherwise. The notes he hands out are tiny and barely have room to add onto them. Just...take a different prof. Save yourself.

Very unclear, uses either the textbook power points or hands out notes that he didn't even write himself so he doesn't understand half of it. He is a nice/funny guy, just not a good teacher to take if you need to keep ur GPA up. Tests are neither from the notes or textbook, most of the questions will be ones you've never seen before

This is a tough course. Be prepared to actually put in work. Ed's VERY helpful! Study off his notes & do random exercises in the back of the textbook and you'll do well. The material you learn will actually stick with you.. Ed's a pretty good teacher!

Great guy, easy to talk to after class and easy to participate with during class. You must know how to study independently however, Eds lecture notes are useless. If you are not motivated to take your own time to study you will not succed

Had him for ACCT 2310 and 2320. He's a very difficult teacher, hard to understand, and test are very wordy and usually don't make sense at times. Like people already said, his test and homework don't go hand-in-hand. I mean the subject isn't that hard..but he just makes it harder than it should be.

He makes his tests more harder than it needs to be. His tests are based on his notes. His notes are difficult to understand and a few of the things written on his notes are not in the text book, so u can't refer to text book if you get stuck. His homework is easy but test was very difficult.

Speaks too quietly to understand. Too much time wasted going over assignments and tests (only about 1.5 hours of actual lecture per week) Tests he writes are full of mistakes and most questions are poorly worded. Actual activity questions are alright but Multiple choice ones are near impossible.

Uses the PowerPoints supplied from the text.. which are overall absolutely useless. Class average on the last quiz was 45%, so he had to scale it. Does not actually teach you how to do things his notes are not clear at all. Self learning doesn't even do you justice unless you're planning on spending 15 hours a chapter on your own.

Gives out notes but tries to save on paper so there isn't enough room to actually fill them out. SO boring. Tests are HARD - studying from the text is useless - He only goes by his notes. Study the notes and you should be fine. - does not use my accounting lab.
