Edward O'Connor is not a very good teacher, you have no idea how you are doing in his class and his midterms and final are very hard and writen on paper, he spoon feeds you all the code and dosen't actually teach you anything, if you want to learn something take a different class. He grades a lot on attendence also.

I really didn't like this course. O'Connor's a funny guy but his unpredictability and lack of clarity leaves you with no idea of how you are doing in the class. Very disorganized. Class has no structure. NONE. A flexible structure can be fun, but when something has NO structure, it collapses. His final exam is horrible. 2 hour exam of code on paper

Very funny and helpful Professor. He can be alil quirky at times but thats just part of the OConnor package. Ultimately he really cares about his students and wants to see you succeed. I've had him for multiple classes and he pretty much spoon feeds you the material. Just make sure you attend class and you will get a good grade.

O'connor is the worst professor ever! He expects people students to know the code by head! "Programmers Mind" is full of crap! He gives you these exams where you have to solve a problem by writing code on a piece of paper! He is not helpful at all! He will tell you to ask your neighbor for help! BEWARE!!

Ed's the man, not just as a professor, but also as a real person. If you ever need someone to joke around with about society, especially involving New York in any manner, he's the man. Other than that, he really knows how to teach in a style that will make the content stay with you for a long time. Just don't skip his class and expect pitty!

This is the best instructor I have had at Drexel. He actually finds a way to get the material into your head and make you feel like you can do it. He has a "different" style of teaching that is entertaining and makes you happy to be in class.
