Sarian is the WORST teacher ever. He only read directly from the overhead slides during lecture and if he notices a mistake he blames the undergrad that made the slides. Plus his quizzes have nearly nothing to do with what you read in the book. Assignments are tough unless you have a CIS major to help you. Good luck if you have this guy.

This guy cannot teach! If you have not had any prior experience with C++ you will not get it at all! I'm still lost and it is the end of the semester. The head of the department tried changing the class because of complaints from the students but that didn't help at all!

I didn't end up with the grade I expected. He assigns seats and takes 30 mins to take attendance. The rest of the class is his notorious monotone, mixed with the same jokes you heard last week. Poor you - he's the only prof.
