I cannot believe what people are saying about Dr. Krampe.I do admit she comes off as rude but that's how she is.She in extremely intelligent and does make you work for your A.Just attend class and take notes when she's talking.Very approachable.READ YOUR BOOK!And what do people expect at a UC lecture?Come on people, it's not IVC!!

She is so intimidating and rude. She is not easy to approach and does not explain what she wants other than "an excellent paper" I have never spent so much time reading, researching, and writing in a class IN MY LIFE. An A in a normal class is a C in her class. Even her syllabus prepares students for a C. She takes the fun out of learning!!!!

Class wasn't too hard. Papers can be a pain in the ass but expected from an upperdiv writing class. Had easy open-notes/open-book midterm and final and her lectures can be pretty interesting. However, she doesn't admit when she's wrong and can have you correcting the same mistake on ur paper over and over again.

I just took Professor Krampe's class. I missed a day of class, which happened to be on the day of the midterm, and she was really flexible and understanding. But, she is very straightfoward & blunt. Sometimes she makes you feel stupid; that was the only thing that I didn't like about her. Her grading is somewhat strict (especially cause it was an upper-division writing class).

Pay attention to her specific details- which really are not that hard to follow and listen to her assigments carefully and you will do just fine-- she LOVES participation even you make a small comment- she likes to know who shes teaching. I liked her because she was strit oddly enough- she made her guidelines really clear- no guess work :)

Prof Krampe makes upper-div writing a breeze. If you do all the assignments when you're supposed to, you won't have any trouble finishing the length requirement on the final paper and you'll get an A. Midterm and final are super easy. She's really nice too, always willing to help her students out
