She is an interesting character. Show up to her lectures and follow along. Read the text on your own time in order to fill in any blanks that may exist. Don't be afraid to ask questions (she can come off as rude sometimes) Participate in Class and you'll be okay.

An amazing professor who really loves what she teaches. She goes at a pace that everyone can follow and almost on the exam is in the textbook readings, so if you fall behind it is possible to catch up even without her lecture notes. Her lectures are amazing though. She gives a lot of extra help and extra credit for those willing to put in the work

Very approachable, extremely informative, obviously passionate about material. You will learn a lot if you show up, pay attention, and participate. Sit in the front of the class to feel more involved. Group projects in general piss me off but I didn't mind doing hers, as I gained something out of it. Especially enjoyable if you like global studies.

Very hard professor. Don't fall for her "Extra credit" cause its not really extra credit and it barely boosted a percent. I had a very hard time with understanding her lectures and test are very hard

Absolutely horrible class. She gives little to no direction for the final paper, and is extremely confusing. Took this class as a GE requirement, huge mistake. Unless this relates significantly to your major, stay as far away as possible. She is a nice person, but an awful professor for someone having trouble understanding class concepts.

Rabach was a very caring professor I'll give her that but she did not make Econ easy to understand at all. I'm terrible at Econ and this class only confused me further. Make sure to carefully read as her lectures won't be much help however that couldn't save my grade as I'm bad at Econ and needed help! Her tests were extremely difficult.

You're going to work hard in this class. You're going to need to read a lot and take notes in lectures. And you're going to learn more than you ever thought you needed to know (if you're not majoring in these) about politics and economics. It's not easy but it is very informative and she makes every effort to ensure you learn. Go to office hours.

Professor Rabach is a good teacher, but she ONLY lectures and lets you read the book for clarity. Personally, I would not drop $200 on the textbook she uses because you really only need it once or twice in the semester; borrow a book from someone or share if possible. Definitely show up to lecture, take notes, and study for the tests for an A.

Shes definitely a tough grader. U mustt pay attention in class and read the textbook line by line. I do not recommend this class to anyone who hasnt done well in an AP class or took an AP class. An A is possible but its definitely a lot of work. U will not fall asleep in her class tho bc her lectures are amazing

She is not clear with what she wants from her students. While the material isn't hard, writing an essay without a prompt is pretty difficult.

She's so incredibly knowledgeable on the subject and her lectures are very interesting. I learned so much in her class and would definitely take again. The only con is that she's unorganized and was at times all over the place during the lectures or in terms of what is on the exam. Actively participate, read a lot, and you'll do fine.

I signed up for this class for Gen Ed credit; I dropped about three weeks in because I found Prof. Rabach to be one of the most disorganized instructors I've ever had. She also exhibits clear political bias multiple times each lecture & expects the student to accept that bias as objective truth.

I was a USC spring admit in fall 2016 and took this course. It was one of the easiest classes ive ever seen. Pay attention in class and take good notes. Listen to what she has to say cause some test questions are only lecture material. It is all really logical material. Read minimally but still do it. youll be fine

Dr. Rabach is like a mad genius. Her lectures are confusing at first but she told us that after a while everything would begin to make sense AND IT DID! To my complete amazement, all the concepts that she was weaving together that seemed totally random and confusing began to fit together in my mind perfectly! Class is a challenge but worth it!

If you are an international student, never take this class. This class wants you to read so many readings and articles and the class is not organized at all. And the grade distribution of the exam is really tough, so getting B is hard as much as getting A.

Exams were poorly constructed where many of the questions were irrelevant to the concepts. eg instead of having to explain how the bench got there, you were asked " what color is the bench", why are we studying the minor irrelevant details instead of the concepts and important facts? Many people in my study group felt the same and struggled.

Rabach's classes may seem confusing at first, but everything will make sense if you stick around long enough. Dr. Rabach is very straightforward, and can seem harsh, but she really knows her stuff and you'll come out of her class a much more informed individual. She's also really willing to talk things outside of class, which is rad.
