This prof is awful. Her clarity is sooooo bad. Accent is OK. She looks like very busy and dose not pay a lot of attention on teaching. She did prepare tons of materials for the class but few ppl want to read them cuz you can actually google those materials easily and she just put those links together. She is always ready to help, she said, only.

Nice person but terrible teacher. All questions so ambiguous with little clarification. Quiz questions she's searching for her keywords only. Exam questions unclear. Overall she asks terrible questions then doesn't help to resolve them.

Her English is good, but you need some time to get use to her accent. She knows what she is talking about, but just lacks this persona of a teacher because she almost seems mad at students for asking questions at times, and is always pretty sharp. No textbook to this course, and the entire outline is a mess. Wait for another prof if you can

One of the worst instructors I encountered while in undergrad. I could barely understand her accent, and she was not a supportive instructor. I'm not good with the subject she teaches and had a horrible time in her class. Unfortunately she is the newest iCORE Research Chair. Just because you are smart does not mean you can teach.

She had an inexplicable hatred towards me. Marks were taken off of my assignments with no justification; when I approached her about this, she could offer no explanation, yet she refused to reimburse the marks. I got 99% in the lab portion, so I obviously mastered the theory, yet I came out with a C.

Eleni is a very good professor. As long as you keep up with classes and homework you will do fine. She is a tough marker on exams (you need to know what you're talking about), but you can still come out with an A if you do well on your assignments.

This class is invaluable. Highly recommended. I learned a lot in this class (though mostly learned on my own). For the most part, your mark in this class will be contingent on how much work you put into your course project. The prof is OK. She marks fairly easily, but her lectures are fairly boring. She tends to over-explain things.

The classes were a bore but now that I'm in the workforce I find that they came in VERY handy... Everyone thinks programming is just coding, but it isnt. Know your UML, know your code smells, know how to refactor, know how to use Patterns.... thats the diff between a Nait code monkey and a UofA Developer.

Dr. Stroulia is very nice and helpful! She values your appointment and answers your questions very patiently. In her class, I learned a lot, which are pretty useful for my current internship job. I like her.

She was an okay prof. Not as bad as some of these comments make it out to be. Initially, I thought the entire reason that I couldn't focus in class, was because the effort of understanding her was too much, but when another prof (perfect english) lectured, he only held my attention for a few mintues more. Make cheat sheets thorough for exams.
