best chem teacher I've ever had! Her tests are harder than other professor's but she makes sure you know exactly what will be on them w her practice tests. Its a hard class with a good amount of work but she definitely makes it as enjoyable and interactive as possible

Comment:

She made me really enjoy chemistry with her enthusiasm for the class. Her lecture notes are helpful especially if you write on her print outs. Her tests are harder than other professors but she gives you everything you need to do well. Its also easy to predict what exact questions will be on the test based on the practice ones she gives. Recommend!

Dr. Woolridge is a very nice woman although not the best teacher. She has a tough time presenting to large groups and often nervously rushes through material. Doesn't explain things very well in lecture and you often leave it confused but she is very knowledgeable and willing to help in office hours. Must study hard for exams but you can do well.

My hero after having an awful Chem 1 experience with a different prof. She is the nicest person around, gives fantastic notes, and provides a lot of examples of the material. Helps you with prelab assignments as well. Provides you with practice exams and power point slides to help with studying. You won't regret taking her classes

Lecture- powerpoint slides packed with a lot of information, sometimes extraneous. 5? Quizzes- difficult, require significant time and are very specific. 4 Tests- very fair, a lot of PC: MC, short + long ans. Read the PP's from each class, and for the hard info refer to textbook. this comment is directed to the person below me and in order to steer other students as well. it is true that she is sometimes disorganized and scatter brained, but that's the coffee speaking. she is extremely fast-paced, and the only way to get with her is to be PREPARED. as a graduate student now, i can vouch that i would've been lost w/o her.

I don't know how this woman has such a high rating. She is really really nice, but a very poor teacher. She is completely unorganized, rarely gives sample problems, and is unclear about what information is important. Tests were about 50% a complete surprise. Definitely go to her for extra help if you are plagued with her class.

i took gen chem 2 and both semesters of biochem with dr. woolridge. i haven't learned more from any other professor at marist. what an amazing teacher...so many good things to take in from her. tests are hard, but you seriously learn how to study for grad-school level material by taking her upper-level classes.

Incredible Lady. Do the online homework to the best of your ability and take alot of time because it is recoreded and she checks constantly who puts in the work and effort. You can obtain easily over 100% on the homework. Besides that dont fall asleep in class, she tends to just keep writing on the board endlessly, try and learn the material then!!

dr. woolridge is awesome. i put extreme effort in the class, and if i went to her for help she was truly extremely helpful. she'll curve your grade at the end if she knows you tried hard, which i did. i deserved a c+ or b- but i got a b+. tests are hard and so's the class, but it's chemistry so that's obvious. awesome prof though!!

Dr. Woolridge is top 3 in my book. She is the sweetest woman in the world and does anything she can to help you out. Webassign sucks and she knows it, but don't worry they're getting a different program for next year. Test can be hard but it's chem. Got a B in the class and had a C in Gen Chem I and I owe it completely to her.

awesome teacher! dr. woolridge is excellent, although sometimes she goes a little too fast and is slightly unclear. her exams can be hard though, so study study study! every teacher and section uses webassign, which is completely unfair, it's the worst program EVER. i hope they stop using it!
