You'll not find a better person OR professor. She TRULY cares about her students and has done more for me (even years AFTER the class) than ANYONE else. She's bright and sets up her class so all types of students can succeed. Class was interesting but more than that, I cannot say enough about her as a person. I actually love this woman like a mom.

Professor ranks as best in educational career. Teaches legal systems, pre law, also graduate school, was also on graduate committee. Proved many times outstanding person and outstanding educator, truly cares about students and their achieving goals.

The amazement came for me when this prof handed out a review for an upcoming test. I had taken meticulous notes--her review could have been written from them. She doesn't appear to be working from a plan, but based on the review, she actually is. Excellent communicator. Nice style.

Cawthon is a great teacher. She knows her stuff really well. Attendance is not mandatory and she wants the student to get the highest possible grade. Exams are even optional if you want to take all her quizzes. She will mix and match quiz and exam grades to get you the highest grade.

I have taken at least four of her classes, and have yet to buy a book and have yet to make below a B. Flexible grading. I only went to her classes to take her once a week quiz and left right away, never stayed. If weekly quiz not your thing you can write papers or take mid term and final, its up to you.
