This woman is a god send. Iam terrible at math. whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE LEMBASIS, i went from an F to a B in statistics. She gives you so much extra credit, she lets you do corrections on the first 2 exams. You do need to attend class and go to tutoring if you want to even pass this class though. There is alot of homework but it helps

Lecture was once a week so it was tough if you missed a class ... you would miss a whole chapter. She is lenient and is patient with her students; however, she talks way too fast. Be prepared to attend extra help, as the subject is not easy!

She is a great professor. I just didn't like the fact that her exams were almost 70 multiple choice questions.

I'm not sure why she has such bad ratings. She was great. I am not the best when it comes to math, but she explains well. If you don't understand something she will go over it with you again. She gives so much extra credit, there is no way you should get less than a B. She even gives you a chance to make up your grade on your first and second exam.

Statistics as a whole, is not an easy subject so prepare no matter which professor you get. What is a plus about her is that she is the head of Psychology at LIU so she is more lenient than other professors. If you show you care and have interest, there is no way that you can fail. She lets you re-do two exams, gives extra credit. DO EVERYTHING!

There are 3 exam including the final. She drops the lowest exam. There are 12 assignments. The 7th to 12th assignment are apart of the final paper and are evaluated to make the final draft. There is a 10-12 page final paper.

Not a bad professor but you need the textbook and you have to study like in all math classes. Tutoring will help . The class is more wordy then formulated problems so you must understand the rules of statistics rather then how to do problems. I would ask next time if we can do formula problems rather then definitions and meanings.

She doesn't teach class. Students have to teach themselves. Without tutoring you will get a F. Hardly any extra credit work. With the right teaching and tutoring you can get an easy A. Hard professor, my tutor says how does she expect students to do well if she is not teaching the class at all. Homework a must and class attendance is a must
