Prof. Shobe gives 7 quizzes, no midterm & final. She drops the lowest grade at the end of the semester. She gives so much extra credit for each quiz, take advantage of it. Take notes because the power points are vague. Overall very nice prof.

Such an easy class! She gives so much extra credit before each quiz, and don't expect to spend more than about 1:20 in her Tuesday/Thursday class. She's an absolute Gem of an instructor, a little crazy, but definitely choose her, you won't regret it!

Super easy class if you print out the powerpoints she posts on BB, take notes on them in class, do the study guide using the notes, study it, and do the extra credit. i have a 108 in her class right now and we only have one test left. 7 quizzes drops the lowest one or u could just not take the last one if you like your grade. My favorite class.

she is very nice, but will talk to the students like she is also a student. Her lectures are very long and boring . she likes to crack annoying jokes and tell lot of stories. Do not buy textbook! the quizzes are all based on her power points.

Worst course I have ever taken & it completely turned me off to the field. Don't buy the $130 book she asks for, she does not use it, she only reads powerpoints & the quizzes make no sense due to that. If you ask for help she blames you for not doing extra credit. Her quizzes have topics never discussed in class so its impossible to pass without EC

She is so funny and she is very sweet. She will help you when you need it and there are many opportunities for extra credit. However, she does not like when you leave in the middle of class, so please refrain from doing so until she is ready for class to end. (She ended class early often anyway)

intro is really interesting and shobe really knows what she's talking about with it. There's 7 overall quizzes and she drops your lowest one, just do all the extra credit and go over your notes a few times and you're good.

Shobe is so funny and nice, this class was very hard for me but she made it easy and the extra credit saved my behind. Make sure you do every extra credit opportunity. There's even an extra credit opportunity that can add 3 points to your final grade. I woulda honestly failed if there was not extra credit. I highly recommend her for intro to pysch

Dr. Shobe was seriously the sweetest and nicest prof ever! There are 7 quizzes, non-cumulative, and the lowest is dropped. Study the study guides, which are almost identical to the quizzes, and do the extra credit and the class is an easy A. I would definitely recommend her!

I was nervous about taking statistics but Professor Shobe is amazing at teaching it! Very clear and understanding of the material. I love her, she is willing to help out as much as possible as well. Stats is a hard concept to grasp for some people, I was lucky to grasp it quickly.

Dr. Shobe has very long lectures, and the material is kind of dry. There are a few quizzes in the class, but she will drop whatever your lowest quiz grade is at the end of the semester. Also she gives a ton of extra credit for each quiz. If you do all of the extra credit, you can raise a quiz grade from a C to an A. The quizzes are tough.

If it wasn't for Shobe handing back tests and quizzes allowing us to fix them, I probably wouldn't have passed. Stats is a hard class. DO NOT MISS CLASS you will literally get lost and fail. It is confusing to learn at first but she tries her best to help you understand. NEED THE BOOK. NEED TO PAY ATTENTION.

So this class was one of the hardest I felt like. There's only seven quizzes and A TON of extra credit. However, I didn't do well on the quizzes and was studying really hard. Went to see her during office hours and she was one the coolest professors ever. She helped me out so much and I ended up passing with an A.

Though she gives at least 15 extra credit points on each quiz, the quizzes themselves are beyond confusing. I never skipped class and studied the study guides, but I never got above an 80 without the extra credit. She lectures forever about irrelevant things and her study guides have nothing to do with what is on the quizzes.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR FOR PSYCHOLOGY!!! Literally the only way you could possibly fail this class is if you purposely did not take the quizzes or didn't come to class. You do have a bit of studying to do but none of her quizzes are cumulative, she gives *TONS* of extra credit on everything, and there is no final exam or midterm!
