Worst professor I had at Cortland. People love her because she is easy but you will not learn anything. Her class is so boring and she never knows what is going on. I hated her class. Take someone else!!!

Loved Ellen. Virtually no readings or homework (don't bother buying books), but she's really specific on tests & lessons, grades harshly. Spent SO much time on some things, and NO time on others - strange focus. But she's wonderful, SO helpful, & loves you. I loved her personality, & when we actually did math, I really learned how to teach it.

Ellen is SUCH a great teacher. There is not much homework, but her tests require you to put some effort into them. She is VERY understanding and knows what she is talking about. She was a teacher for 20+ years so ask her anything and she knows it! She has been the most helpful teacher I have had at Cortland. Take her if you have the chance!!!

tells you you're doing well in the class and then surprises you with a grade. Good luck on the unit- very tough grader- her mind changes as the wind blows. We never received a grade until the absolute last day of class- not 1 grade. take a different professor

I have her for both EDU 373 and 375. I LOVE! her. She is on the crazy side but she makes class interesting and not so bad to go to first thing in the morning. She makes the material very easy which is why it's an easy class. You should definitely take her!

whatever on the last few posts. She is the best teacher i've ever had. She writes great tests that are very clear b/c she teaches a class on testing! She is a fun crazy, not wacky. Some of my best teachers in school have been crazy, so who cares? She really reaches out to her students that want to learn

Ditto on the last post. Very unorganized, repeats herself. Nothing useful out of her class, what a waste of time. Hardly ever takes attendence, handed everything in on the last day of class. So on the last day of class you had no graded assignment or test to guage our grade on. You want an easy A, take her...you want to learn take someone else

she's my advisor and teacher.. definitely the most helpful teacher/advisor I've ever had. takes care of things right away and cares a lot about her students/advisees. she tells you what the real world of teaching is like and you learn a lot. I highly recommend her.
