Professor Z. is THE GREATEST!!! She's really passionate and knowledgable about her work, and I always looked forward to her class! She sparked a genuine interest over the issues she talked about, and her class literally changed my life. She really cares about her students and wants to help them to succeed! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Comment:

2 papers the whole semester but you can do lots of extra credit. She is extremely smart and knowledgeable about her field. She says get the textbooks but you really don't need to, it's just a waste of money. If you already know about minority groups and oppression this class can be boring but you still get a lot out of it. Interesting movies shown.

I LOVED taking Gender, Race and Class with Professor Zagreda. Her lectures are interesting and I felt like I learned important things from her class. She only grades on 2 papers, but allows her students to do as much extra credit as possible.

Professor Zagreda is an amazing professor to have just to be more aware of the world around you. She only gave a midterm and a final. If you go to her class you'll feel inspired when you leave. She's an amazing professor - don't take her for granted at all. Don't miss any opportunity in that class! I wish I could have her again.

Elza was such an amazing professor to have. I left class every day inspired by her lectures. Really sweet and intelligent. She only assigned a midterm and final and she's a tough grader so do the extra credit! Wish I could take her again.

In all honesty, Professor Zagreda is the best teacher I've ever had. She's amazingly knowledgeable in her field, in film, pop culture, and general civil justice. She's lively and passionate about women's studies; her class is fun and eye-opening! I'm so sad the semester is over, she made my first semester at Pace incredible.

Professor Zagreda is a good professor. She isn't a harsh person or a mean teacher. She is kind and she has a "chill" vibe. She doesn't criticize you for your responses or any questions you might have. She is one of the sweetest professors you can have. His demeanor is very soft and caring but she also keeps a stern hold on the class and the student

Took her for GRC her lectures are long but she does really care about what she talks about Im a dude, white, and middle class so didnt have much to talk about in her "How does your Gender Race and Class define you?" paper. But theres only two papers and she was an english major so not an easy grader at all. She uses the textbook but its not needed

I took her for GRC and shes great. Truly inspirational and full of information. You will learn a lot but she only gives two papers. She does have extra credit. She grades harshly and isn't too clear on what she wants from her papers. But besides that its one of my favorite classes!

She is very nice to talk to and you will be able to listen to her lectures without being bored. You can easily skip the class just not too much. You only get two papers and no tests or quizzes. Yet if you get a bad grade on one of the paper's she gives out extra credit at the end. Do not go against her opinion because she will not like it.

Love love love this professor. I'm only a first semester freshman but she is my favorite of them all. She only gives 2 assignments which is both good and bad I guess. She would like you to read but it's not mandatory. The class is very interesting and she is more concerned with you getting something out of the class than grades. Highly recommend

The Class is interesting if you want to learn about Women. Homework is just readings, but you don't have to do them...in fact the readings don't help for your mid-term or final, only the lectures! Great movies, and two pop quizzes.

She is a great professor. Talks for the whole class but is interesting. Most classes do turn into a class discussion so it is little to no class work. The only hw is to do the readings from the text book, no tests, midterm and final only and they were essays. She is very passionate about WS and it makes for an overall great class.
