hmm where do I start? she barely comes to class, shes usually late to class, she takes a very long time to give grades back. She talks a lot about religion, is very oppinionated, which can come off to be offensive. I would not take another class with her.

Professor Marks is a great teacher. I had a bit of trouble with the group projects, but that was the fault of the other students, not her. She's funny and witty, she loves her subject, she's opinionated but she enjoys debating the topics as long as you're respectful and can back up your opinions. Always available after class to talk or chat. :)

She is friendly yet gives tough love at times. I like that she makes it a point to be friendly/get to know with all the students. Good for recommendations if you are transferring. She can read people well.She's like a wacky aunt that shares sage-like wisdom lol

i loved prof marks. she was a lot of fun and laid back. she knew everyone in the class and was very approachable. lots of group projects, which is fun. but she likes to make you write like 7 papers a semester. highly recommended!

Marks was one of the best professors I have had in college; took time to help me with my schedule even though she wasn't my advisor; took her for two classes ENG102 and Brit Lit. She may be late to class but was worth it

If you like religion, get in her class. It was a waste, she was always late, and because of her I think I know more about religion then what she was actually supposed to teach. Too much group work for me, makes you feel like a little kid.
