Comment:
Just horrible. Notes are not organized, usually writes on one side of the board then moves onto the next, without explanation, expects you to follow his steps. Accent makes it hard to understand material. Hand writing is worse than his teaching, half the time you can't make out what the word is. Doesn't own up to mistakes and never gives clear answ

Comment:
An effective communication means that information sent by the sender is understood by the receivers- otherwise its just noise. In that sense I just went to lectures to listen to the sound of his voice. Literally noone understands, and he mistakes the silence of confusion as that of satisfaction. Dont bother asking questions; he wont answer anyways.

Comment:
Difficult to understand his lectures, lacks the ability to get to the point, confuses the students with too much words. Materials are very straight forward but he is not a great 'teacher' as his method of teaching is not the best fit for the majority. Would not recommend his class unless your a self learner. Group/individual project is easy.

Darkoh isn't really great at giving lectures. His classes feel quite unorganized and it seems like he explains things in a complicated fashion when they are quite easy to understand in the textbook. You will have to self study a lot to do well in this course, as he never really reviews old concepts. His strong accent is also hard to understand.

If you want to learn in class, stay home. Khan Academy does a better job. His lectures are extremely unorganized and all over the place. He barely goes over the basic concepts and then throws you in the deep end. Darkoh is extremely dry, dont even bother taking him.

He has not once given us a break. It's a 2 hour class and I find myself just falling asleep after an hour. He's extremely hard to pay attention to. Too many pop quizzes. Online hw is never announced and students often miss if not announced that its been posted. His office hours are not accurate. Impossible to find him.

For some reason his rating is low on this site, but honestly he is really nice. I was not doing well in the course but I came to his office often and he omitted my worst quiz mark, and he will weight the better exam more if he sees an improvement. He has an accent! And reading the textbook on your own is a must. Exam difficulty is average

Darkoh is a nice person, but the lecture he gives is not very clearly explained, students may need self-study

I would suggest for you not to take any of his classes. His lectures are very unclear & 99.9% of the class is confused. There is a very highly likely chance you will receive a barely pass or a fail if you completely depend on Emmanuel to teach you the course. You will be fine if you know your calculus very well & have outside sources for help.

I'll be totally honest, I think hes a really nice guy and would make a great friend outside of school. He's the kind of guy I would love to grab a beer with for sure. But when it comes to teaching, you couldn't pay me to take another course with him, even if it was free, I just wouldn't do it.

Lectures are over explained, does not get to the point however his tests are easy. Overall the worst part is his accent since his explanations are unclear to begin with anyways.

Is not qualified to teach whatsoever. He does not prepare for his lessons at all beforehand and seems to be making it up on the spot. He also makes a ton of mistakes when working on questions and does not want to explain tough concepts but will over-explain easy ones to compensate.

Unlike other instructors, he gives weekly quiz to keep you on track, which is helpful. no worry about the quiz, though he says it worth 5% of your grade, actually, they won't count in the end; he is a good teacher. his method might be a bit old fashion, but try to understand him. Do his work, go to his office when you can. it is an Easy A !

Get ready to self study everything by yourself because Darkoh does not know how to teach. He makes things so much more complicated than it needs to be. He does not know the word 'simple' in my opinion. Exams are tricky. The wording is very vague. Quizzes every week. He teaches very slowly too, we ran out of time at the end

The biggest flaw in his teaching would be explanations. He said himself that he has to work out questions with the class, which is slow and difficult to follow. Take your own notes from the textbook. His notes are just solutions to harder questions. At least he's nice and does listen to students... if the class isn't dead silent from confusion

If you're naturally good at math, you'll do fine as his tests are not hard. I found his accent okay but prob only cause English is my first language. He makes mistakes on the board often so pay attention when taking notes. His explanations are sometimes long-winded and unnecessary. I relied on the textbook a lot. Overall he's a nice guy though.

He's a really nice prof. The only problem is that he tries to explain things too much. He would ask a question during math and if no one responds he explains over and over and over. A lot of the times, the class gets confused because he explains TOO MUCH & too much detail. His exams are easy. You really need to understand the material though.
