I hated this class. He is impossible to understand or relate to at all. I nearly fell asleep during every class, he is so boring. The material made no sense at all and the questions on the tests were hard because he NEVER went over the material adequately.

Certainly not the best teacher ever. He is clearly brilliant, being a a Harvard PhD and all, but he has a very very hard time relating his knowledge to students. Wears dirty old flannels every class and doesn't explain a thing. Don't ask questions, you will get a scathing sarcastic response. Heavy hw every class, tests difficult

He is a really awkward guy but knows his stuff. If you didn't take a calculus course before, you will struggle, if you did it's a breeze. The class is divided into stats and calc. Two midterms and a final then you have homework points and attendance. Do the hw because you don't learn in class it's on your own

Easiest math class I've taken. (His biostats class is very easy.) Lets you use the text book, SPSS, calculator, notes, homeworks, and web on all exams. Gives weekly homework but no quizzes. His handwritting is a bit difficult to read but the material is easy to understand.

Sweet Guy, but does not understand when you have questions. Test a bit hard open book which is nice. Curves the midterms. But takes off points for stupid reasons. Take the class if you know about stats beforehand.

I loved this guy. He was the best math teacher ive had. he explains the problems so that every can understand. he doesnt expect you to know calculus when you first get there. Hes really goofy too and very nice. he's basically a genius... he went to harvard so hes very very very smart!

Really doesn't engage students. He's so excited to teach math that when he gets to solving a problem he does the whole thing on the board then tells you, "well you don't have to do it like that. Just use stats portal." But then rarely shows you how to do it on stats portal. if you do take the time to see him outside of class he is very understandin

appears to be a nice guy but is NOT! is rude if you dont understand, and doesn't try to help. assumes you already know what he's talking about. there's hard HW and online quizzes due nearly every day, lectures are confusing, tests are hard but open note/book. I do not recommend him! you'd need to dedicate your life to studying stats to get an A

You really have to give respect to this man he knows his stuff.. Gives a lot of homework that is real easy to do and its just easy points. He gives a great curve on his test so if you study some notes youll do fine even if you get a D, cuz with the curve it will be a B. Has some hidden humor

If you go to class and try to pay attention it really isn't hard. You can hand in homework late and he doesn't care. The test are the hardest part. In class he goes over all these formuals and than says well if you didnt understand any of that then its ok because we have stats portal that does the work for u. Just study how to use stats portal
